Today was another doctor's appointment.  I love getting to go and hear the heartbeat, Ralph and I have just been wishing to see him again on a sonogram.

Today when my doctor measured me he said that the baby was measuring big.  I told him 10lb babies definitely run in my family.  He said he wanted to schedule a sonogram so we could see how big Lucas was getting.  I go back on October 29th for another sonogram.  So Ralph and I get our wish of getting to see him again before delivery.  My doctor said he doesn't want me to deliver a 10lb baby.  He said overall everything is going well though.  I'm doing good and the baby is doing well.  So I'm not sure what all this means but I guess there's a chance they'll induce me before my due date if Lucas is getting too big.  Of course my mom delivered 3 10lb babies--Chris was at home with a midwife.  I just want Lucas to be healthy but it would be nice not trying to deliver such a big baby. 

Part of me would love to have the baby early so Thanksgiving would be more enjoyable and our birthdays would be a little further apart.  I've heard some negative things about being induced though so I'm just praying things will happen however is best for Lucas and me. 

For the last few days Ralph and I have been living with my parents while we've got people working on our house.  As of right now they're putting up the new trusses for our new roof.  I'm so excited about the prospect of getting our house upgraded and the mold out...the process of course of waiting isn't the greatest part.  I know in the end it will all be worth it.  I just hope that things continue to move along so that we can get back in and reorganize the house and get the baby room ready!  I'm so looking forward to getting settled back in.

Ralph and I also celebrated our 5th anniversary on Saturday.  Sometimes it's hard for us to believe it's already been five years!  We're counting down days for Lucas...37 days left till the due date!!
