I was setting up a new install of DotNetNuke today and started thinking about what modules do I add to my install before working on it.

Here are some that I add right away (These are all FREE - although, please consider donating to them):

This is just a small list of what I am sure are quite a few great free modules.

Please feel free to add to this list, and share what you use on your typical DNN installations.

Ralph - Wondering why I haven't see a list like this before. Thanks for taking the time to put it together. Quality suggestions here and, because of the fact that all are free (donation ware), there is no reason not to try them out.

You should definately include PageBlaster CE. It significantly improves page response times by providing page-level output caching and compression. DNN natively only provides module-level output caching. PageBlaster also provides a number of additional ways you can tweak the HTML output of your pages before it reaches the browser, e.g. replacements.
